Halloween apothecary jar

Here are my Halloween jars.

I filled these with black and orange peanut butter candy. (candy corn would be just as cute)

I got the rocks from my front yard....Don't tell my husband. he he he

Then I painted them with chalk board paint. Boo of course is in chalk.

Then covered them in spiderwebs and spiders.

This project was fun and easy!

Dollar store apothecary jars.

I have seen around blog land these cute apothecary jars and I wanted some for myself. They were so easy and very cute! So here's what I did...

1. Pick out your candle sticks and vases.
2. Remove stickers.
3. Sand the bottom of your vase and the rim of the candle stick.
4. Wipe clean. Remove dirt or sand that is left in the candle stick or on bottom of vase.
5. glue the rim of the candle stick and place on vase. (vase is upside down at this point until dry) I used E-6000 glue that I picked up at a local craft store. Let sit overnight and ta da your done!
6. Didn't I say easy?
7. Now just decorate. Holloween is a fun time to get crazy with them....Spiders, eyeballs, candy, etc.... whatere you can dream up. I'll post some fun ways to decorate them in my next post.
